I have used this with direct play android titles and amazon luna and found the cloud gaming via luna to be a much more satisfying experience. The controller can be paired in one of two ways. The first emulates an xbox one controller. The second is as a generic bluetooth controller. When paired for direct play to android as an xbox one controller, the app support is lacking and the controllers are often finicky and poorly optimised. This is more of an android issue than a specific problem with this controller but still something to take note. FPS games with this were very underwhelming. On the contrary, when paired as a bluetooth controller with amazon luna this was flawless. Smooth controls, great sensitivity, and overall a great experience. The build quality is so/so - the frame is very plastic and light but the buttons themselves have a nice travel and press and the hall effect triggers is a nice addition. The inputs overall feel very good.In sum, a great half priced alternative a backbone or kishi type option.

This is a game controller that you put your phone or small tablet into. It can then be used as a game controller. It works via Bluetooth. It charged quickly with usbC, and maintained charge through an hour of gaming with plenty to spare. Bluetooth set up was quick and easy on my Android, power on, select "Xbox game controller" pair it, and off you go! I used it with Steam games through Nvidia Ge Force Now. It is plastic, but feels as durable as any "insert phone and play" device. It opens juuuust wide enough to comfortably put in an S24+, so 6.75" may be it's max stretch. The set up is similar to any good gaming controller, abxy, direction arrows, 2 rather stiff joysticks, bumpers and triggers.Once I got set up and got into my game, a mellow puzzle game, I set about getting used to the controller. Not a pick up and play endeavor. The joysticks ranged from "not enough" to "too much", so getting the pointer accurately placed was a headache. I don't know if there is a break in or tracking setup. It got painful after a while. Buttons and bumpers worked well. It was all a bit noisy, rattly, in my quiet room. It may work well with earbuds. There is no way to charge your device while playing. I did not notice my phone getting hot at all, but the game I was playing isn't a powerhouse phone game. This controller DOES NOT work for PUB-G, and I would think it really isn't great at any shmup requiring accuracy. But it gave me access to a few Steam games I enjoy that are even more persnickety to control just on phone or tablet, such as A Little To The Left. For the price, that is fine. And if it gets lost or broken while traveling, it's far less to replace than other backbone type controllers. So, it's decent, nice to have, affordable. But not anything more than a clip on controller device that can work. Your mileage may vary, of course.
