Hold is the key word here. Whether handling glass or mirrors and especially if one has sizable large shards to handle, these hold well and can be of service for the need.

I purchased two of these to help with the installation of large format porcelain tiles. Several times they literally fell of when upside down for back filling, and one time the tile fell off and broke in half. This particular tile had been cut especially for a toilet valve, requiring an additional amount of work. One of them refused to close because of the design with a washer on the bottom, so only one of the two are working - but it can't be trusted.

Used it for lifting a tv screen and suction is great.They should improve the handle so it’s smooth to control so we don’t put an unnecessary sudden pressure

Used to remove a tv screen. It left and oily residue that took a lot to get off. Clean the suction cups well before using.
