My 3 and 5 year old loved these! I saw some reviews say they are hard to push, but pushing thick clay through tiny holes, there’s going to be some resistance. That being said depending on the hole size they weren’t that bad to push the play dough through! My 2 almost 3 year old could do it and independently. Worth the money and toddler approved!

My students love these. In fact, they love them so much (and they work so well) that there is play dough all over my floor after they go to this center. I love how they use their imaginations to make the little thready pieces into all kinds of different things (hair, snakes, spaghetti, etc.). I also love how they are building their little hand muscles and having a blast doing it. So, I’ll give them a few extra minutes of cleaning time because these are so much fun!

Bought these as party favors for our two. We put them with a mini pack of play dough. Super cute and work great if you can squeeze them out. My 4 year old struggled to use on his own but eventually he was able to push down hard enough to get it out.

The children love the "spaghetti" made by one of these as well as making bricks and decorations with the others. It is a bit of a challenge to push the playdough through some of them but they are building muscles! That's probably the only drawback with my 4 and 3 year old groups.
