You will need high volume and 90 psi plus supply for sure, but works great!

Auto-Body, need over 90 psi - Works as well as the $400 Mud-Eater (40 years in Body & Paint) - I've had this sander for a few months - I work hard and no problem - But 90psi will not run it - I use 120psi on the compressor. I don't know what the tool psi is - Whatever it is - If you have the air - it will do the job.... It pains me to say it - 40 years of throwing money away for pride - "Look at me $500 Snap-on / Blue point sander"... Never again....

I bought a Astro 8 inch orbital sander exactly like this in 1987. At that time I paid $232.00 for the exact tool. I will be retired before this one goes bad and I paid half as much. Win

Everything I needed it to be , and better only building one last car and always got by w ithout one like this diameter, but now I’m old and retired , resto modding a 56 Chevy , large panels to keep flat lol love the sander

Use professionally everyday, and could not be happier. Great price compared to higher end brands and is nearly identical. Speed regulator was a little loose for me, but a piece of tape stopped me from hitting it accidentally. Very happy with this bondo hog.Pad comes with it is for use with sticky sandpaper (its smooth), you will nees to buy an adapter sticker to switch to hookit 1 or 2I am very hard on my tools, and after months this sucker still works as new

Good bondo buster, takes allot of air volume to run this.
