purchased as a replacement for an old porter cable random orbital, the tool is at least 15 years old so imagine my delight to the advancements in backing pad composites. wish I hadn't waited until the OEM backing completely disintegrated before repurchasing.

Used on a Porter-Cable dual action buffer. The part is much better than the Porter Cable dense foam hook and loop, which heats up and starts crumbing. This is a better replacement.

Works well with my Porter Cable 6in buffer. This has no Velcro and I use it with my buffing bonnets.
