bought this because my other tool from astro would not fit in a tight spot this worked perfect but its very hard to compress the riv nut because of how small the tool is

I have only used this with the M5 rivnuts so far and it works fine. I should have paid attention when ordering this setup because it does not come with a case and I don't think they offer one. Would not have bought this if I was paying attention because of that and would send it back but I need a rivnut tool now that will get into a tight spot. They add cases to other kits so you can keep it all together why not this one? Quit being cheap and thoughtless you need to get it together Astro Pneumatic.

I've used it some and it works well. It is well made and easy to change heads. I don't know how well it will work on larger rivnuts. I wish the kit contained a 10-32 adapter, had to order it separately. Would buy again!

I've spent hours setting rivet nuts with a "field tool" and thought it was good enough. As soon as I tried this one, I knew I had been wasting my time. This one works great, easy to switch out thread sizes, and didn't give me any worry it was going to break in half. If you wish it had a case, grab a cheap organizer for all the adapters and rivnuts and you're set.

This tool was absolutely amazing. Fit into a tight spot, was easier than the big ones that require you to squeeze with both arms, and worked great. I do wish it came with some sort of case for all the different attachments.

I’ve got Astros larger thread setting tool-the one with the 2 large arms. I love it but the only problem I had with it was getting into small spaces, so I bought this one. It’s so good, it fits in pretty much anywhere the larger one can’t. I’d say the only issue is with shorter handles comes less leverage to install the larger threads but that’s fine-I’ll use the larger one for that. Can’t knock it for that though, I love this tool and pretty much everything Astro makes.

This tool is well made, I have had good luck with astro tools in the past so had no question for purchasing this one. It works very well, as good as my marson sae riv nut tool. I purchased this one because i needed to install metric riv nuts for a project. I installed about 20 so far, both in 4 and 5mm with not problems. Great tool.

Au lieu de mettre un rivet, ce type de fixation est démontable. La pince est aussi très petite et donc peut facilement aller dans les recoins.Pour ma part, bien aimé même si je ne l’utilise pas souvent mais très pratique.
