Fast service and works make sure you have a backup because these can break if you don't adjust your drill torque

These are hard so they will break if you put too much force on them. I didn't realize that Astro made multiple Rivnut guns so I ordered the wrong one which is on me.

the rating for the part is low due to my stupidity and not a mandrel issue, It was my fault that I purchased this mandrel, I thought I had chosen the correct mandrel but later found that the threaded end of the mandrel that screws into the tool was too large for the 1442 tool. my loss I guess.

Does not fit Astro pneumatic 1442. Too big. Wish I would of went with the review just not many options.

I bought the main kit of these about a year ago and this is the second time that I have had to replace one of these mandrel/nose pairs as the nose snaps off if you aren't careful. Granted, I am using an 18v brushless Milwaukee drill but I do have the clutch set really light. The key here is to use a very light finger on the trigger and to stop when you see the backside of the rivet begin to flex out a bit- if you are waiting for the rivet to really snug up tight, your're going to break a nose piece.
