Cool idea, poor execution. The idler assembly (the part that tips down) was installed out of rotation by a few degrees. Can get it to track straight until you pivot the tip down. Throws the whole thing out of center and the tracking adjustment cannot overcome that misalignment. The kicker here is I purchased a rebranded version of this exact same sander and it had the exact same problem. It appears to have come from the same factory in China just painted a different color. I returned that one and will be returning this one as The seller wasn’t helpful, just told me to call Astro Tools. Astro Tools said a tech was going to reach out to me. It’s been about a week. Returning this one too.Just be prepared to get a bad one if you order this.
