Not really fair to down vote for it not being a Vixen size rail. It fits SYNTA finder shoe brackets just fine, including ones that are on the narrow side. It is a very good deal for its length.

This seems like a well built bar. It does fit in a Vixen scope but there is enough play laterally that when the screw is tightened to secure it the bar rotates 5-10º. That's kind of a deal-breaker when trying to use to mount a tracking sight.

The description states that it accepts all sights mad to fit a Picatinny rail. Not so. The dovetail does in fact fit a Synta dovetail base, but the top rail does not have the correct shape to accept a sight mad to clamp on to a Picatinny rail. Rather than having the required relief for the clamp, the side wall is straight. While you may be able to *screw* a sight to the top of the rail, you absolutely cannot clamp one to the rail.I'm giving it two stars rather than zero only because it does fit the dovetail base, and I can figure out a way to use it, with some additional work. Work that I did not count on.

I use it with my DSLR mounted on a camera mount adapter (that has all degrees of freedom). R he adapter is then attached to this bracket that mounts into the standard dovetail on my C8 or Orion newtonians. Good product.

I don't know what this thing is. I do know it doesn't fit Vixen-style as stated in the information... it is far too narrow. If you are looking for a Vixen anything... stay away from this.
