Only good for a small scope(80mm or less), not as advertised. No padding in scope sleeve.

Tripod even bigger than telescope tube, so no way to put it in. Also bag is too soft, while EQ Tripod weight is around 4kg, it needs some harder bag compartments to avoid telescope damaging.

Moved to Portland, Oregon. Normal outlook is NOT clear skies. Grandkids in Southern CA get the scope. I bought this to take with me on a flight. The bag has no padding. I keep extra bubble wrap and styrofoam, so extra protection was not a problem. Flight Crew kindly stowed the scope up front. Didn't use overheads. Taking the scope was a last minute decision. As promised, delivery was prompt.

Review of Astronomical Telescope and Tripod Shoulder Hand Bag Padded Carrying CaseThe bag worked great for a trip I took recently. We were going to a designated dark sky area so I was asked to bring a telescope. There would be four of us using the same car for the trip and all of our luggage, so I wanted some level of protection for the scope. The bag worked great! The scope I brought was a 90mm x 700mm so about 40" long and the tripod. The zipper wraps down one end so even long items can be placed in the bag with ease. There is a sleeve inside for the tube to protect it from the tripod. Nice bag, worked great.

Was in need of a bag to transport my Zhumell 114 and Orion VersaGo Altazimuth Mount. I came across this bag and was hesitant to purchase, due to the lack of reviews. I'm here to tell you that there are no issues! Mount and telescope both fit in the bag perfectly!

i bought this bag for my telescope and its really not sturdy and it might break even if i slowly put it down
