I wanted to buy the real thing, but endless backorder tempted me to try an alternative.It works perfectly. It’s a fabric pouch holding pieces of metal. Seems to be of plenty good enough quality for what it does.Only gripe is the edges of the weights are entirely unfinished and have small slivers of metal remaining from being cut to size. They will poke/cut you if you’re not careful. Either clean the edges up with a file or just leave them in the pouch and ignore it like I did. Doesn’t really matter.

Perfect addition for my helmet. Nods were putting a lot of pressure on my forehead and this balanced it out perfect. I’m running dual tube nods and the max weight is the perfect counter weight for dual tubes. You’re able to remove the tiny weight to balance if your running single tubes. If your running quads tho you’ll need heavier weights.

Moira nicely to the Maritime Opscore helmet. Construction and materials seems fine. The weights are just chunks of bar steel. I replaced a couple with AA batteries for NODs. I can easily fit CR123 batteries in there if I wanted to. I wish it had loop Velcro on the outside for placement of a patch.

I use this for work and it's awesome it's been through some crazy elements and it's still working right, counter balances the Nvgs real well. If you are buying this product for military or air soft than you will be fine.

This product is junk. The front panel is made of cordura but the rest is some kind of crappy vinyl. I'll be surprised if it lasts a week of use. Do yourself a favor and at least buy one that's 100% cordura construction and not this cheap, Chinese sweatshop garbage.

It fits on my ACH (genuine not knock-off), but the included weights were only ~9 oz. A PVS-14 weighs 12.5 oz. I had to remove two of the included weights and add two 3 oz fishing sinkers to reach 12.5 oz exactly. This combo perfectly balances the front and rear of my helmet setup.
