I wanted to love this kit! The first one I received, the pump leaked so badly at the connector that I couldn't test anything. The replacement one is better. But, the 3 chrome adapters that looked so simple and such a perfect way to do things, turned out to be garbage. They don't seal well. This makes is almost impossible to pressure test anything that doesn't have a screw on style cap. I'm using the adapters from my other Harbor Freight kit for this purpose. It would be such a novel idea to have ONE kit that covered everything. For now, this is a decent addition to my others.

Beautiful and complete looking kit. So far, I have only used it once. It was on a 2004 Volvo S40. The intended adapter did not fit. I bottomed out on the reservoir tank before the o-ring touched the top of the neck (threaded part), so it couldn't seal. There was another Volvo one, that didn't do it either! I had to double up the o-ring and then it was almost sealed. It was good enough so I could assume the slow pressure loss was from the tester cap not the system.

Bought the master kit but use the vw adapter primarily as I work at vw. It’s been great up until yesterday when the part that attaches to the coolant cap adapter separated. So now am a bit disappointed as I need a new hand pump unit and nobody carries only that as a replacement. I tried going through atd tools directly but there’s no direct email link to find out from them directly.
