Other pastry bags that I bought, thinking they were large, said they were large but they were not. I make cream puffs and other pastries and I don't want to keep filling it. This bag is quite sufficiently big and so are the attachments. Easy to clean and I'm sure you'll like it.

So I only gave it a 4 star and I tossed between 3 and 4 so really its like 3 1/2 stars and heres whyThere are no directions, there's no way to keep all the pieces together and unless you really know what your doing you would be clueless for a lot of reasons.That being said I do love the product and I did find it very useful. I found it to be a little pricey but I also plan to buy another.

Added this set of couplers to my amateur cake decorating supply kit to accommodate larger piping tips. They work fine and it’s nice to have additional small tips available when swapping in and out many colors. If I had endless funds I’d just get the regular not universal couplers for all sizes as the size adjusters are kind of an extra step and a pain to keep track of. But they’re economical, work perfectly well, and take up little extra storage space.

I wanted to try Eclairs for the first time and resorted to ziplock bags because my star tips weren't big enough so i made a makeshift plain tip to work with. The Eclairs turned out HUGE and were still good but not uniform. So i ordered the bag and coupler and it went perfectly with a 869A star tip which resulted in smaller eclair shells that all looked pretty similar with less cracking.

Like some other reviews mentioned, the “L†larger size coupler is gigantic, measuring 1-5/6" (33 mm) meaning that your tip bottom has to be larger than this, otherwise it will go right through the hole in the coupler.Then there is a “ML†(medium-large) coupler that measures 1-1/8" (28mm). This one will fit 1-1/4 -inch tips.I had bought this coupler for the “M†medium size coupler thinking that it would be slightly larger than the smaller standard size.However there is a very huge difference in size between the Small and Medium size couplers.Many decorating tips measure about 7/8 -inch (22 to 23 mm) diameter at the bottom.The Medium coupler is too large, and these tips go right through the hole in the Medium size coupler.This Medium coupler is really for large tips.The hole on this Medium coupler measures 7/8 inch (22.5 mm). You need to use it with a tip that has a 1 inch diameter at the bottom or larger.Like already mentioned in these reviews, NOBODY makes a coupler for the tips with a bottom diameter of about 7/8 inch.Since there are no couplers on the market for these 7/8 inch tips, you cannot change the tips without emptying your bag. This is not efficient.The description of the item says : “This Universal Coupler accommodates ANY decorating tip with an bottom opening between 0.5 inch to 1.5 Inch, it will fit nearly all tips available from any manufacturerâ€THIS IS FALSE advertising.The smaller coupler fits standard tips measuring 11/16 inch diameter. This is more than the 0.5 inch mentioned in the add.This coupler is useless to me.

Ateco Universal Coupler Set. This would be a wonderful coupler set IF all the pieces worked as they should.My Medium and Large tips fit and work good.However, for the Small aka Regular Tips, the screw on part doesn't seem to work. It won't screw on straight, so using for small/regular tips this set is useless. My guess is that the inner 'threads' weren't made correctly.Others don't seem to have a problem, so mine could be just from a bad manufacturing batch.While there aren't separate instructions on how to use this set, there are 'instructions', so to speak, on the box. So I have no complaint in that I don't know how to put it together, as others have had. Really quite simple to use.But because I can't use this for regular tips, I would NOT recommend. I have contacted the company and should they rectify this matter, I will edit my review.UPDATE: I have now contacted the company TWICE and they have NOT responded to me. Other companies actually reach out to customers who aren’t happy, this company ...I have DROPPED to be lowest rating I possibly can BECAUSE of the LACK of customer service. I will not be doing business with this company again.
