I have tried many version and brands of these are these really work well.We have a long walk at one off the resort and the strap makes carrying skis and poles much easier. And the straps take up very all amount or room in my 12 L Dakine Back Pack.Like the Karate Kid line from Mr. Miyagi - Wax on - Wax off - well these are EASY On and EASY Off.We are happy with these and I ordered 2 more sets for my adult Grandsons.

We aren't avid skiers, but we go every winter at least once. I HATE ski boots and struggle to walk and carry my skis. My husband has carried them for years. I was determined to do it myself. I bought this strap on a whim and it literally arrived the morning we left for our latest ski trip. It took a minute to figure out the exact configuration. But once you do, it is all uphill. And literally. I carried my skis and poles this trip without much effort. It is a little wonky to find a place to store the strap while on the slopes. But I just folded it up and put it in my pocket. It is a very high quality strap so it is rather thick when not using for carrying. If you have struggled with your skis, this is your solution! I am so glad I bought these straps. It will be my new must take item.

Good value for money. The Velcro straps for the poles are a little tricky and can come loose (which isn’t great when catching a shuttle or going to/from the mountain), but the ski straps hold well. Now that I’ve tried them, I’m going to get more for the family.

I really like the ski-straps in spite of their shortcomings. I plan to put some extra stitching into them, and probably replace the so called pole-straps with something more functional while I'm at it. I guess I'll sew another 2-3 feet into the carrying-strap too, and end up with a nice set of ski & pole carriers for a couple hour's work and $12. Not too shabby, but it's a shame they didn't just do it right and sell them for $20.The ski-straps are 2" wide and 20" long* and nicely padded with closed-cell neoprene. The first 5" of the strap is neoprene only, and you sandwich it between the skis for cushioning, while you hold the skis together with one hand. This leaves the other hand free to continue wrapping the 11" Velcro portion -which has a plastic piece to attach the carrying strap- around the skis and Velcro it to itself. The Velcro "sticky" part is 2" wide x 4" long, and there's a small grab-loop sewn on at the end to make it easy to UN-wrap when it's time. Unfortunately, the piece which the carrying-strap hooks into, and the end of the "ski pole strap", only tuck 1" under the end of the Velcro strip, where they are secured by 2 rows of light stitching. I will run some more stitching through there before using mine. The ski pole straps are strange; they look like they MUST do something, but I couldn't figure out any sensible way to use them. While I'm restitching the carrying-eye strap, I guess I might as well modify those too. These straps fit my 4" wide skis perfectly; although you could go a little wider. I'd say the widest skis they can accommodate securely are probably 5", which would leave 3" of overlap for the Velcro.** The carrying-strap which hooks into the ski-straps seems well enough made, with 2 or 3 rows of stitching, and a decent shoulder pad which slides anywhere you might (or might not) want it, but the strap only extends to 46" long, This may sound okay, but I want to strap my skis together where they actually touch each other when placed bottom-to-bottom; this is 48", which leaves me 2" short, plus any slack necessary to sling it over my opposite shoulder; probably 2 or 3 feet. Good skiing! Mark *The first 5" of the strap is just for padding between the skis, and is not part of the "strapping" portion. This leaves an effective length of 15", minus the amount of Velcro overlap, for securing the skis together. **With 5" wide skis 1/2" thick, the wrap-around length required would be (5"+1/2"+1/2") plus (5"+1/2"+1/2") = 12". Since the effective length of the strap is 15" you have 3" left for the Velcro overlap. Got it???????????

I got this strap because it can be a pain carrying skis a long distance. Took me a little bit to figure out how it worked.

These are great, we usually have to park quite a distance from the base and it's hard enough walking in the boots without fumbling with gangly gear. This is really helpful!. The straps fit in my jacket and these are easy to attach and remove.

Never again will I struggle carrying all the skis and poles from the car to the slopes. I noticed people looking at me, with envy. Great components, high quality, good price. you are dumb if you don't buy these, or something similar.

Does the trick and is much better that over the shoulder as these covid days I have to walk farther with ski boots to get to the lift. No inside changing areas anymore.

decent quality rubber strap, easy to hook on shoulder strap. Velcro for pole straps are useless they will untie on their own.
