Very happy with this debris bag, especially the zipper, and its affordable price. The bag does seem harder to clean than the OEM bag, but a simple solution is to have two bags and rotate a clean one on the pool sweep when you have a bag that needs changing. Simply empty the dirty bag by letting whatever debris falls out on its own. Then let the bag dry out in the sun and the rest of the debris can easily be removed. Repeat the process when it's time to clean the bag again...

If you are a Legend II owner, be aware this is a very different bag from what we are used to. It fits perfectly, but it is a different shape and higher capacity. I personally liked the traditional bag once they got away from the Velcro closure and went to the snap closure. I tried this one because it was so much less expensive. I was afraid it would be cheaply made and not last as long, but I thought, Why not try it? So far, it seems sturdy and is working well. The zipper closure has not been a problem so far. The shape of the bag means it doesn't empty straight out, so it requires some shaking in different directions, but it is not a difficult process.

Fit well and easy to clean since there is a wide zipper. Gave 4 stars because the Velcro doesn’t last very long. I sew so I replaced on the bags I bought previously.

I have used the clip and Velcro versions of this type bag and have found that the clip doesn’t close tightly after a few uses. The Velcro version catches all the nasty debris and eventually doesn’t seal- this zipper type is a great improvement at much less than OEM price. Get this one!

I purchased the bag for the price and the zipper closure. All the bags I have used over the years all seem to have the same issues with the Velcro wearing out. The bag works great and at half the price of the name brand. Others have complained about the bag clogging up with leaves and not filling completely due to the separated sections. Yes, this will probably happen if you don't clean it often and have a big leave/debris problem. The product works fine for me.

Great fit. Good quality. But after 8 months of use, the small tab broke that holds it onto the sweep. Partially due to my fault because I pulled the vacuum up towards the water level by the bag- I didn’t lift it out of the water by the bag though.Will buy again due to the cheap price and good quality for most of the year.

The original is a bit overpriced now, so I tried this much cheaper bag. The original pentair bag has a piece of black plastic on the inside that keeps the bag from folding over as the vacuum moves forward. This black piece is missing. This very important piece and the bag will fold over and block the opening preventing most debris from entering if this black piece is not there.The solution is to remove the old bag by using a pair of screwdrivers to pry off the outer ring. It is pressed on. No glue no threads. It does take a bit of work to get it off but once you do that on both the old and the new, put the new bag on the original mount. The ring needs a couple of swift hits with a hammer and it will hold the bag. Make sure the black plastic is facing forward with the new bagNow you have a new bag at a much lower price on a working throat for your vaccuum.The mount from Pentair does have a patent on the black deflector in the throat which is why the cheap replacement does not.If you do not want to do this. don't buy the bag. It is garbage without making this modification
