Great sound. I’m only giving it four stars because I thought it was a little overpriced.

fits my record player perfectly, and delivers the same great sound as before. It comes in a sturdy tin box with a small brush that can attach to the phono arm if compatible. The stylus is well-protected in a foam-padded case to prevent any damage. It also includes screws and wiring for the cartridge if needed. 844

The stylus will be the main reason people buy this item. This listing is confusing leading people to believe that it fits on an Audio Technica LP-120. Pretty much all of these turntables come with a different model of cartridge for the passed few years. This will not fit a VMN95 Cartridge, which is the standard for modern LP-120 models. If your stylus doesn't share the same shape as this, don't buy it.The stylus showed up bent and twisted and I didn't even open it. I could tell straight away just by looking at it. I tried to adjust it a bit. I will have to run it in for a bit to see how the sound quality is.The accessories that are included are quite useful. There's a stylus brush and a record brush/duster/cleaner included. The fibers on the brush are thin enough to get down in to the groves. The brush is small and oddly shaped, but the bristles stayed intact when I pulled on them to check for loose fibers. Both brushes have soft bristles that won't scratch your records. There's extra cartridge leads (wires), nuts, screws, and tubes. It all comes in a nice reusable tin case that you can keep your accessories in.With that being said, the accessories are extra, a nice touch, but when your QA needs to be on par at least.

Probably need to do some readjustments to it now though.Personally I don't like these green styluses, they don't pick up the hissing and popping but they also don't pick up the range of sounds that make a record a record. It's not just this needle, the player came with an expensive name brand needle that did the exact same thing. Common internet group think says the white needles are the best overall, was hoping to get that instead.I've noticed at the end of a record and especially 45's they'll stop playing thinking that it's finished because the song sound level starts to lead out getting quieter when there's still another 30 seconds to a minute left in the song.I appreciate the other bits in the kit.

Unfortunately advertised as compatible: the connection pin is not in the correct spot for this model. Back to the expensive needle....

I got this kit for the needle cartridge, but the extra brushes are fantastic. The record dust brush is super fine and soft, and exceptionally good at removing dust from the record, without causing harm to the surface of the record itself.

It seems like a nice kit. You get an aftermarket replacement stylus for an Audio-Technica AT-95E cartridge, a set of new cartridge wires and mounting hardware, a stylus brush, and a record dust brush. All of the accessories are fine and useful, though most people wouldn't need the cartridge mounting parts when replacing the stylus. The whole set was packed in a tin box, which is also useful for keeping small parts together. While the product page on Amazon includes instructions for stylus replacement, there was no information included in the box at all. It would have been good to include the instructions, as well as the VTF (vertical tracking force) data. This is the first stylus I have ever received that didn't include a basic data sheet and reference instructions. The stylus itself was packed into a small plastic box with a foam block for cushioning. The box was difficult to open, and I resorted to using a pocket screwdriver as a small prybar to pop the two halves apart. The stylus I received in the kit was defective and I was unable to play a record. However, the seller was very responsive and eager to correct the issue. They communicated promptly and sent a replacement kit quickly. It is unfortunate that issues arise occasionally, but they were great to deal with. That obstacle overcome, on with the review -The stylus body appears to be correctly made. It has the exact form of my original stylus. It snapped right on to my AT-95E cartridge with no issue. Even the ridges for the protective cover are molded in, but there was no such cover supplied (my OE cover does actually fit). The first record I played with this new stylus was Workingman's Dead by Grateful Dead. This was an A/B comparison with my OE stylus. The new aftermarket assembly appears to have a softer suspension than the OE, and the stylus is raked further back than is optimal. The sound during play exhibited noticeable sibilance and weak bass. The excessive rake is the likely culprit. The next record I played was Tower Of Power. I chose it because it has a lot of energy in the first track and my copy has a slight edge warp. My OE stylus normally tracks this record very well. This one had trouble, skipping several times. I think this is a result of the overly soft suspension. I got it to track by dialing on an additional gram of tracking weight, but this caused the cartridge to ride so low it was almost touching the record. Also, the previous experience of excessive sibilance and deficient bass was repeated with this record. Realistically, this isn't the best stylus I have ever tried. My overall impression is that someone put this kit together thoughtfully, but the stylus is not built to the same standard as the original equipment part. However, it is also half the price of the Audio-Technica stylus (which is still available). My preference would be for the manufacturer to spend a little more on better materials for the stylus assembly and leave some of the other goodies out of the kit to meet the price. If you have an AT-95e cartridge and need to get a functional stylus for it on a tight budget, this will do the trick. If you play a lot of records, the additional investment in the OE unit may be a better way to go.
