I purchased this to go with the same brand car stereo ATOTO F7 WE 7inch Double DIN Car Stereo. It was advertised on the stereo. Unfortunately this didn't work right out of the box. I've tried new battery, pressing buttons, everything. It's just dead. I would love to write a better review and get a new one because the stereo is awesome. However this was a birthday gift so I had to hold it for awhile before I could install it and miss the return window. From what I can tell it seems like a good product if it worked. Which would help control the stereo safely whole drivingPros: the strap is nice and secure. You can place it anywhere on the stirring wheel. The buttons feel nice and ergonomically make sense for ease of access. It's nice that it's wireless so you don't have cables everywhere. It has a magnet so you can remove it without taking off the mount. Could probably use it away from actually driving.Cons: dead on arrival. No way to know if it's one or workingI would love to get a new one and change this review. I'm sure it's great when it works

Installation was dang easy. Just plug the remote receiver into the back of the unit, then strap the remote onto the steering wheel. Done. The hardest part was getting the dash off and back on. Definitely use a proper trim removal tool to keep from scratching your dash.Got this for the receiver for an Atoto F7 in my wife's car so she could have basic controls without having to look at or mess with the touch screen. Much safer than taking your eyes off the road just to play/pause.Keep in mind, this is only for a few of Atoto's models, so be sure it works with your model before you buy.

This came as part of the supplied parts in a GPS/Back up camera item I purchased. I had it installed, and the only place to mount this, so far, has been on the steering wheel. I've mounted it in several different places around the steering wheel, and no matter where, I seem to be bumping it with my fingers or hands. As far as the performance of the piece, it does control the volume at a thumbs touch, and the other touch features seem to control things, but I haven't really figured them out.

I did have this mounted on the steering wheel, but then mounted it on my center console and works perfect. Driving and not having to reach for the unit is a dream!

my 2nd one.. should of learned my lesson ..remote circle keeps on falling off both times now back completely lost and cant use it anymore. first one kept on falling off till it got lost.. thought by securing the strap on the steering wheel it would hold. keeps on flying off and coming apart.now the 2nd one back is lost and cant even use.. the whole system even the Radio ATOTO not worth it at all. keeps on freezing. wont pair at all in the car , apps wont work as phone cat pair.. kind of stinks.not worth buying...

C'est mon deuxième véhicule que j'équipe avec cette télécommande et un Atoto S8 gen2 premium. Simple et efficace. Au moins j'arrive à reprendre toutes les commandes qui étaient sur le volant de mon Santa Fe 3 alors qu'avec le canbus il ne distinguait pas la commande vocale du décroché de téléphone. En plus pas de branchements à faire sur le faisceau de l'autoradio. Juste à brancher le récepteur sur la prise IR

Me ha parecido un complemento ideal para mi nuevo ATOTO este controlador inalámbrico para el volante, fácil y rápido de instalar, solo hay que conectarlo por medio de una clavija por detrás del la pantalla y en mi caso abrazarlo al volante con la correa elástica que trae, también viene preparado con un adhesivo por si prefieres colocarlo en otro lugar, otro detalle es que la parte de la botonadura se acopla y sujeta al soporte por medio magnético, por lo que lo podemos colocarlo y retirarlo sin dejarlo expuesto a los amigos de lo ajeno, manda perfectamente las señales para realizar las funciones más comunes mientras vas conduciendo, y para los que no tenemos mandos en el volante de nuestro vehÃculo pienso que es el aparatito ideal, os lo recomiendo.

I got this little controller for Atoto S8 Premium head unit and works like wonder to say the least. The rotary knob for volume works great as you can instantly control the volume up/down. Same thing goes for the buttons as they serve dual functions and I specifically love the quick access for the backup camera. They are glow in the dark as well. The removable magnetic design is so clever that my kids are able to use it at the back seat and they simply loving it and therefore letting me focus on driving.I encountered one issue where the Play/Pause button stop functioning but was completely cause by my music streaming app(Youtube Music) when I enable it to auto start with the unit. I just disable it to auto start and works perfectly fine after that. This issue doesn't seem to affect the freeloaded audio apps.Overall I loved the clever design and the functionality is top notch. Would recommend it with Atoto head unit especially with anyone who have kids.
