I bought this to adjust the shift point in my wimpy gutless 300 cubic inch 6 cylinder 3/4 ton extended Ford van and good thing I ordered it because the old modulator was leaking fluid into the vacuum line. I installed this and gave the screw a couple turns in and it raised my shift points to exactly where I want them on the first try.

Check closely what modulator actually is on the C6 on your vehicle before you order this part. The listing showed it would fit my application, but it does not fit.This part is not threaded (it has an o-ring and is held by a clamp).The C6 on the 1970 Mercury Monterey with C6 requires a screw-in type modulator (e.g. white stripe).

Worked well for 2 months then failed, now it’s past the return window. I’ll be purchasing a new one from an auto parts store.
