ATP Y818 at 95 inches out of the box was not long enough for my 77 F250 4x4 high boy with C6 auto and Divorced mount 205 Transfer case. Both of the ends are CORRECT for the speedo and T case. I need the 118 inch ATP Y848 or PIONEER CA-3019

Had to reuse the old grommet through the firewall and the o ring. The original also had a silicon material on the top of where it bolts into the transfer case

I purchased this cable from Car Quest, here it is much cheaper. I was disappointed that the exact length I needed was not longer available. At this time there are only 3 lengths available. My 1976 Ford F150 regular cab, 8 foot bed, part time 4 wheel drive, and manual transmission used an 82 inch cable. So this length requires rerouting to fit. When the speedometer end was installed, I couldn't get the pinion gear on. The inner cable was too long. Each end is squared to fit into the speedometer head and the trans end. If the squared end on the trans end was longer I could have cut it down and made it work. I could have tried, but then I would not be able to return it if it would not work. The easyiest waiy to change these out is to remove the trans end first, then remove the speedometer head.. When installing the new one, install the speedometer end first then install the trans end.
