Great speedometer cable for my factory 383/727 charger. Was about 1 foot longer than the original, but had no problem routing it regardless.

Product seems to be an exact replacement for the original....no problems so far...I finally got around to replacing my original cable ...and ,much to my surprise....the new "exact fit" cable was over a foot too short!....I cannot use the new product and have put in back into the box it came out of. I hope Amazon will allow me to return the product...it has not been installed.

Purchased for a 1990 Mazda B2600i 4x4. This was not an exact fit, but with some minor modification, it fits great. The gauge movement is extremely smooth, much smoother than the OEM cable prior to it breaking. For the price, it was hard to beat, considering I could only find a used original for 4 times the price.

I removed the cruise control from my 87 Dodge ram charger and needed the longer cable, This is the longer cable that goes straight from the speedometer to the tranny. It is Long enough to Not bind up. It’s about 80â€.

cable was not cut clean on the end, hard to get into speedometer and the more i tried the more frayed it got. in the process of messing with it the plastic end came off. never could get it to go on far enough to click and hold. typical, chinese piece of crap.

This item has two signifant flaws.1. It is too long. OEM Length is 62" making it 18" too long which creates problems in routing the cable, mainly with it being too close to exhaust in the engine bay.2. This cable DOES NOT have the grommet on it so you'll have wind noise from the hole in the firewall that the cable passes thru.

The lock tab on the speedometer end snapped off.I ordered a replacement, same thing, ordered another one, it too snapped.Ended up using a small hose clamp to secure it.

Its long by about 6-8" but the threads and the clip connect properly. Both ends connect (7/8-18) snuggly with a satisfying click. The only problem is to manage the excess cable length. The square ends fit well. Will update after road test
