Before buying this I did some research on YouTube and boy was I impressed transmission is definitely running cooler. Totally recommend this to anyone and would most definitely buy another one if I get another Ram!!!

2 years ago my transmission went out hauling my horse trailer. It took a year to get it fixed. A year post fix transmission was getting hot again. no-one can afford to keep putting in transmissions every two years so we tried this... 3 minutes to install and my temps are controlled! very thankful for this product.

So I rated this a 1, due to something so simple being so difficult/annoying to install. However, once installed works great so for function a 5. The issue I had with the install is none of the lines would line up (they would bind), it ended up being one of those deals where one has to do a certain sequence and it works. In my case first I had to make sure the lines from the transmission where not connected, then connect the line running to transmission cooler first, then the return line from the transmission cooler. Both lines required a lot to get fittings started, once started (and I knew not cross threaded) they were very tight, like something was causing lines to bind. Then I installed the lines from transmission also required a bit of force and seemed to be binding just a tad. The final problem was the fittings that where pre-installed, one of them leaked, I was able to tighten and stop the leak. I should no better and always check pre-installed fittings, just expected better with all the good reviews. I hope this thing does not give me trouble down the road.

Very easy install. Trans temperature usually ran 180 plus . With the thermal bypass it dropped the temperature down to 130.

All i can say is i wish i would have installed this sooner. works great and keeps my trans below 150, don't listen to any of the reviews saying it leaks, if you have half a brain cell it will work great.
