I like that these hinges are available and think they are a good solution when the flimsy attic ladders break due to the cheaper original hinges and thin wood.I took off a star because it would be really nice if there were some instructions or diagrams for optimal placement, spacing, etc., for installation. Also, if they aren't going to provide mounting hardware, they could at least list what is needed.

These are great for repairing a folding ladder. I used them to repair my attic stairway so I won’t need to replace it. These are better than the original hardware. It does take a little time to drill our the holes and bolt them in.

The hinge is good quality but it was supposed to be a 2 pack and there is only 1 hinge

While this seems pretty straight forward, no directions were included and would have made the installation process much quicker.Quality of the product is good and I am satisfied.

Our attic hinge kit is perfect for the repairs we needed to make on our attic stairs! Our stair hinges had been bent and were not feeling safe to use. This strengthened our folding ladder. It definitely reinforced our ladder. This is made of steel that feels durable.Not sure what else I can say about these, but if you need one, this is awesome!Just so you know, this review is from an impartial opinion.
