Perfect for mixing, recording, and mastering music, dialogue, and sound effects, making it an ideal choice to be used in recording studios, radio stations, and more multimedia situations
  • DSP PROCESSING: The Studio Monitor Speaker (ASM-65X) includes built-in digital signal processing technology (DSP) which optimizes frequency response
  • 2 CLASS D AMPLIFIERS: (80W + 40W) Instead of boosting the input signal via linear gain stages, a class-D amplifier uses a concept known as pulse width modulation for increased efficiency. This studio speaker for monitor contains an amplifier for both the woofer and the tweeter
  • HIGH AND LOW FREQUENCY CONTROL: The built-in HF trim and LF trim allow you to adjust the high and low frequency amplifier gain to optimize sound quality. | INPUT VOLUME: Adjust the input level
  • STUDIO QUALITY SOUND: Music Production Multimedia Production Live Streaming Podcasting Gaming Music Playback
  • 1" FERROFLUID COOLED KEVLAR DOME TWEETER: Superior sound quality and a long-lasting performance. It's magnetized properties protect coils from heat distortion, providing distortion-free sound with consistent power output. | PRO AUDIO HORN: The rectangular cone-shaped design delivers controlled sound, spanning a wide frequency range to allow for detailed treble in any track. | 6" COMPOSITE FIBERGLASS WOOFER: Durable and resistant to high temperatures, enjoy crystal clear sound with minimal distortion. This woofer is reliable for long-term use
  • SUB-DISTRIBUTION FRONTAL OVAL PORTS: Oval shaped which is typically preferred due to its larger surface area, allows for more airflow which results in smoother and more accurate bass response
  • 1/4" JACK TRS: This connection has three sections which indicate that three pathways run through the cable. 1/4 inch TRS cables are mostly used to carry balanced signals. They consist of two signal wires and a shield
  • XLR INPUT: Our speakers are used for external line back monitoring stands, either balanced or unbalanced, this type of electrical connector is primarily used in professional audio, with the benefit of noise rejection, a magnetic field creates the same signal on both sides
  • RCA AUDIO INPUT: When used in conjunction with an RCA cable, which features a male connector that mounts firmly into the jack, our speakers for monitor becomes possible for analog or digital information to pass from the output destination source to the input

I am very impressed with the power output of this monitor. It pretty effortlessly can put some some serious volume and has very filling bass. The mids/highs are not drowned out though. It looks great and feels very solid and well-built. It is on the expensive side being this is only for a single speaker but given the weight and build quality I am confident it will last a long time. I do feel that the speaker even in neutral low frequency gain has to be boosting the bass a bit so I do not think speaker is as transparent as I would want a real "studio monitor" to be, but for other uses a bit of bass boost is probably desirable.

I'm really impressed with the build quality of this particular speaker. The base is clear as well as the mid and high range is excellent. I usually utilize these for listening to podcast instead of music but this would be excellent for music as well.

As someone who has been looking to buy a pair of studio monitors to replace an old 2.1 setup, I found these and immediately ordered them to test. I didn’t realize till later that it was only for one monitor as is common practice for manufacturers of studio monitors (outside of bundles and those targeting the average consumer).Regardless, I was curious to try it out anyway. The unit comes with a relatively thin but flexible 3.5mm to RCA cable which is too short to connect to both a left and right monitor unless they were literally inches apart. The standard power cable is included but I decided to use my own.Since I don’t have any equipment to measure its performance, I’ll just give some general remarks: Bass extends relatively deep, being somewhat audible in the 40-50Hz range (manual claims 47Hz response) but isn’t too boomy to listen to male vocals or rap. The highs are inoffensive and it’s bright enough for my liking as I also tend to a lot of music with female vocals. It seems to be missing that special sauce in the middle though, but it’s good enough for most listeners ($300 good? Not so sure about that…).There are switches to control the low and high gain to compensate for the room setup. In my case I increased the low end despite the wall being directly behind the speaker and it still sounds fine for most non critical use cases. The usual RCA, 1/4”, and XLR connections on the rear as well as a power switch and gain knob.I used a Y-splitter so I could use a stereo signal with my one speaker and it worked well when I played back YouTube, YouTube TV, movies, and video games. At the moment I’m using it as an oversized alternative to a soundbar for a smaller TV (mounted above the TV since it’s quite wide even when placed on its side).I wish I could comment on the overall stereo sound but for now it is relegated to casual listening and maybe in the future use it with my budget vinyl setup. As for its value, it’s not so impressive as significantly cheaper systems are able to achieve similar or better performance. Paired with the lack of specs in the product descriptions, it’s already a big gamble for many potential buyers especially when it’s an unknown brand with no reputation in the pro audio world. There’s a frequency response graph and the bare minimum specs in the back of the physical manual but that doesn’t help the person shopping for monitors online as you can at least demo other systems in person at a guitar center or other retail shop instead of buying sight unseen.Needless to say, I would not buy a single speaker for mono use at its current price if $300 at the time of review.

Great monitor for some light sound work. I do recording at home with my guitar and vocals and this speaker has great sound. Bigger than I anticipated. Fit and finish seem well made. Overall happy with the purchase. Just wish for the price it came with two speakers and not one. Once you add the price of two, it becomes quite an expensive endeavor. But given how great it sounds it’s worth it!

I'm not sure why these would be sold as single speakers. I mean, yes, you can just buy two of them - but it just seems weird not to list them as a pair. The quality of the build is great; it's large and fairly heavy, so I got a dense foam isolation stand for it to minimize vibration. The bass is excellent (perhaps the best I've ever had in my modest home studio), and the mids and highs are clear and resonant.I like the design of the speaker too. I mean, most speakers have a similar look, but there is something about the proportions and placement of the various elements that I like and it looks really good on my desk (of course, two would look better).I will likely get a second one (because I fail to see the point of having just one). I'll update this review if my experience changes with the second unit in hand, but my initial impression is positive and I'm looking forward to having it in my studio space.

This speaker has good clarity for a monitor of its size. If you want to mix and listen in stereo you will need a pair but this seems like a good monitor. I feel like the response is good but at this price point you might be able to get a pair of decent monitors from a well known brand.
