I only gave it 3 stars because when it died two winters in...I got an original OLD Breckwell motor and it still worked after I don't even know how old that stove is....maybe 1990's Big E. So if I had to have a motor, I would buy this again, and know that I would need to keep buying them.

Our Comfort built pellet stove insert was less than a year old and finding someone to diagnose the issue was very frustrating, we were on someones list for two months, so I decided to troubleshoot the issue and found that the Auger motor was defective. I bought the stove on Amazon in March of 2022 so my first call for the part was to the vendor in N.C. Of course there was resistance on sending me a new motor so I decided to "not" go thru the warranty process and get the motor on my dime. Amazon had it in stock and it was delivered within 3 days. The pellet stove is now functioning and heating up the house. You are better off diagnosing the issue yourself than waiting two months for a service person. Buy the parts on Amazon its quicker.

I used this motor for my castle serenity pellet stove. It's the exact same part number. It bolted right up using the existing bracket. I paid the extra money for 2 day shipping. Received it quickly and I was back up and running 2 days later.

It works, showed up with a broken connector, looks like all the pieces of pastiche were in the box which leads me to believe it was the shipping company’s fault but I paid an extra $20 for expedited shipping for it to show up broken. I was able to swap the connector out with a good one and the motor works as it should.
