These are 12mm dice, smaller than your typical standard Monopoly dice, and it amuses me reading other reviews upset with the size who made their purchase not understanding this. These are the perfect wargaming dice, where you are rolling handfuls of dice at a time. You can't beat the price. A Chessex block of 36 12mm dice in fancy colors is around the same price of 100 of these. I thought there would be no way these end up looking as good as the pictures, but I was wrong, these are gorgeous and easy to read.

I was shocked to see so many dice and such a low price, but when I got them I realized why -- they are about half the size of standard dice. Now, it turns out that this is exactly what I need. We like to play Tenzy a lot (needing ten dice each) as well as Farkle (six dice each), especially on vacation. It is much easier to fit six ten of these in your hands and roll them, especially in smaller spaces. They are not all different colors, with two sets of black, but there are certainly enough for my whole family, and I leave one set of black in my school room at home for quick math problems. It comes in a nice sleek felt bag that, when full, it a little smaller than a softball. This is terrific for space-saving when packing -- I can fit this in my backpack and we can play anywhere. I just use my phone to keep score, so no papers necessary. Very please with these!

Our family and friends play a lot of dice games and this is a fun way for everyone to have their own set. While these dice are smaller than the usual size, they still work well but are a little harder to read on the lighter colored dice.

Perhaps I didn't read the description close enough, or just assumed all dice were the same size, but these are not. They are much smaller than regular dice. So while cute, they didn't really work for Tenzi and other dice games we wanted to use them for.

I tend to ignore numbers and also apparently missed the word TINY in the description . . . these are indeed tiny! But they are cute. I bought the dice to make my own version of the dice game Flash - since that game is only for 6 people and I had 8 at my Christmas family gathering. (We used playing cards instead of the scoring tiles and put color dot stickers over the "one" spot on the dice). At first I was disappointed that I made this oversight, but soon changed my mind. Everyone who played liked the little dice. Everyone had their own color. We played Flash several times last week and had a blast! I'm attaching a picture of the dice - along with what I would consider a "regular" size (from the game Strike!).

The dice were smaller than I expected and honestly I was a little disappointed, but then we played a game with them and it turned out that they were actually perfect! The younger kids were able to handle them easily. I would be cautious about having them around littler toddlers because they could be a choking hazard, but that would be the same for any game pieces that were small. For us they were perfect!

These dice are consistent in size and shape. The pips are painted cleanly without smudging or excess paint outside the indents. The only negative is that the red and orange dice are very hard to tell apart. You need to hold them next to each other to tell the difference. This may be an issue for you if having distinct colours is important for your use case.

For example, who can roll all 6's, and stack them into a tower first. It's fast and fun. Because you're often times rolling 10 dice at a time, it's nice that they're little. I chose the square corners because I thought they'd stack nicer. They roll great.
