I hope I never need to use them but they seem heavy and sturdy. I got them to coordinate with my bumper and my paint and I'm very happy with the look

After a year and a half they look fine. The black rubber comes off quickly. So I used some glue before installing them and everything will be fine.

I’ve had these shackles a few years on the back of my Jeep. The color has not faded and they have held up to time. I liked them so much I bought another set for my front bumper. I have even used them to pull a friend out of a mud hole with no issues.

Picked the gold that accents the bronze quite well..we bought the demon plates and it looks amazing. Extremely happy.

They look good. That's why we bought them. Not sure about the overall structure ability of them. I tightened them on the loop to the bumper with a crescent wrench to keep the pin from walking out of it while going down the road. When I did this, they tightened down on the bumper. Indicating that they might not take much of a side load... Now, I know you are not supposed to sideload shackles, but when you are stuck, sometimes you have to do what you have to do...We will see what they do when they are under a load!

perfect fit! Love the colour. Very sturdy and good quality.I did see other reviews saying the washers are not the correct size for a bronco, however I got the to fit snug without moving at all! I used a thick washer on one side, and a thin washer on the other and it’s a perfect fit! They don’t move at all while driving

Shackles looked good, but when I tried to unscrew the pin, both were seized. Had to use players and a screwdriver to get the bolt out as they would bind on one spot on the hole in the shackles. You could tell the spot by where the paint was scraped off on each turn. It is as if the bolt is bent.. but nothing obvious. Turning it in and out several times (with now just the screwdriver), did not help at all. I don't want to be mucking around in the field with extra needed tools (specifically - the screwdriver) when I need to use the shackles as fast as possible. Decided to grind out the hole a bit on each with a small rotary grinding tool. The hole (NOT the threaded end) is now somewhat oval/egg shaped and I'm not sure the 8T labelled strength would still be met, but for my purposes, think it will be ok. There is obviously no paint left on the grounded surfacesNot impressed.....UPDATE: APRIL 29, 2022.On noting the above 'less than positive' initial review, the seller quickly reached out and offered a new set of Shackles. Their response was more than kind, and I indeed received a new set from them today. The screw pin on these works PERFECTLY, with no binding whatsoever. Heavy duty, and should work great in the field.All I can say is great Customer Service and follow-up from them.I am now... MORE THAN PLEASED 'Out of the Box'!

So far so good after having for 2 weeks. Interested to see how paint holds up to Canadian winters, I've hit it with some Krown. Matches the cactus grey from Ford really well. For Broncos with the front modular bumper we need a washer that's in-between the large and small that come with this kit. You get 4 large and 4 smaller (in thickness) washers... Bronco owners will use 1 large and 1 small and still have a little play. No noticeable noise driving.
