I bought these for safety cable clamps in a well. They had to be stainless steel to prevent rusting. They fit the plastic-coated steel cable perfectly.

Broke a few from tightening down on a 3/16 cable for a gate balast lift. Hard to grab anywhere even with a vice grip and socket barely squeezes along.

Great for working with 1/8 inch garage door cable. The nuts on these are small and close together so a socket will not work. You need to use needle nose pliers to tighten

I needed these for my dog's aerial run lines. They are used as stops so two or tree pups don't get entangled...perfect!

These clips are bright and shiny, all stainless steel. Their price is very good in comparison to what you would pay at Home Depot for a comparable item. However, they are marked “8â€. This means that their nuts are 8mm wide, and you will need a metric ratchet wrench to turn them easily, unless you have an adjustable wrench and a lot of patience.

I should have read description better and got larger size. I did get the smallest ones but that is on me. However, wow they are tiny and but useless. The build quality is extremely high and I would recommend the larger ones for real use.

The product is not for heavy duty use. Would be OK for small projects.

The clip body is a cheap casting. Every single one of them I purchased failed. They cracked off or split completely. Buyer beware.
