Bought these for the fuel tanks on my peterbilt. They take a bit of adjusting, but they work well, and are far better priced than the ones at peterbilt dealerships. 2 years and counting and no problems.Notice: you do NOT need to drop your tanks to install. It's a tight fit, and you might bust your knuckles up, but it does work. Theyre adjustable, and you just have to tighten the adjusting nut after you expand it once you get it partially in the hole. Use your brain, it's not tough.

The design and assembly meant the float was only functionally adjustable for about 270 degrees of rotation, which with my fuel tank, meant the float would hit the wall because the mount location isn't great. I was able to adjust to its limit and then bend the arm so that it would clear the wall of my fuel tank and all is well.

After about 2 years, the gauge wouldn't read full anymore after filling up the tank. The gauge would only go up to a little over half. I put off troubleshooting the problem for a good while since it is such a PIA to remove a gas tank from the car. But I just now just pulled the tank to find out what the issue was. It was easy to see it. The swing arm on the sender does not swing freely at all like it did when new. Too stiff for the fuel level to move the float. I'll go with another brand this time.

works great i was able to RETRO-FIT it to my old sending unit bracket cut & shorten the Float ARM. .I had an in tank electric fuel pump fail after -4-years cost me $155.00 tow bill. i installed a carter P4070 Electric fuel pump +A smaller back-up electric pump on the Frame-Rail of my 1990 chevy ck-1500 p/up, DROPING the fuel tank is a big Hassel as it had over 3/4 full pump ALL 30gal. out i plan to keep this truck for /ever as i can get over 20mpg on high-way by keeping my foot out of it install A vacuum gage & keep it between -15 to 20 inches.+hy/tech distributor set @ 18 degrees Advance + high Dollar spark plugs & wires. the pay back is great even @ $1.75 per gal.

My son decided to ramp up my truck with bigger gas tanks so we could drive longer between stops for gas. This was part of his project to make the bigger tanks work. It worked. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Semble de bonne qualité, a beaucoup d'ajustement pour réussir a s'adapter a plusieurs situation, a bien fonctionné sur mon tracteur international harvester série 74, le fait que la bracket de support soir en plusieurs parties m'a sauvé la vie, car sinon je n'aurais pas pu l'installé car la cabine ne laisse pas beaucoup d'espaceLe prix était le tiers du celui d'origine
