Really easy to install.I t avoids bending the tachometer cable because it is a 90 degree arrangement. It is still doing well on my sailboat. I'm more than pleased.

These are nice little units but as with all speedometer related adapter and trinkets it is pricey!! It is needed in my case however due to the tight clearance behind my speedometer with the HVAC ducting in the way.The grease zerk is a nice feature but how often will we remove our cluster to grease, maybe add an extension hose to it somehow and have it hang down under the dash at an accessible location?

Resist the temptation to use the grease fitting to pump this full of wheel bearing grease. Doing that will result in needle bounce and soon enough a broken speedo cable not to mention the wobble that will develop on the output side. Don't ask how I know this, but this is my second one. Instead, open it up, clean out all the existing glue err grease and reapply a judicious amount of Motorcraft All Purpose TEFLON grease. Get it at your Ford dealer. Works like a charm and the speedometer will be smooth and steady not to mention that your speedo cable will be happy too.
