This is a solid screen. Sturdy, heavy and it’s great quality.Pros:- Easy to set up with the right tools- Remote is already programmed and has batteries- Motor is quiet and it moves really smoothlyCons:- There is a chemical smell that comes out once it rolls down. It was strong the first time I used it but it’s slowly going away. I’m sure it will completely dissipate in time.- With each button you press there’s an accompanying beep that comes from the control box and it’s loud. Wish there was a way to mute it but it’s tolerable.Overall, the screen is nice and I def recommend.

Somehow, I installed this by myself - but I was on the verge of tears so I really don't recommend that!! It's very heavy and tricky to get the measurements down to mount without someone's help. Especially if you're trying to wall mount it right beneath some molding like I have in that picture - there are attached hooks if you can hang it from the ceiling, which I wouldn't really recommend unless you're doing that right against the wall with how the attached switch is set up. There are some snowman shaped holes on the ends to mount onto the wall, but for less stress, you might want to hang it slightly lower than the molding than I did.The mounting equipment it came with was pretty iffy, so it worked to use my own. As other reviews have pointed out, the switch has a weird set up and the cord is fairly short. It's not a big deal with a lil wire management and not caring about how having fully invisible wires, but something to be aware of. There are probably some more creative ways to camouflage it.Operation of the screen is good, screen quality is good - I didn't have an issue with smell at all. I leave mine pulled down most of the time and there was a slight warp in the corner near the top for a while that I honestly didn't notice until I was playing a video game and noticed a square menu was a little warped. It seems like it's gone away a few months later but for the most part, it's been totally fine.I like that if I use the remote to raise it, there's an option for one click close. It can't remember a set length to unroll to, but not a big deal to me.

I bought this projector screen to replace a 92" manual pull-down screen from Elite Screens. It began developing horizonal lines that was visible while watching movies. I also, recently, purchased a new projector. I felt this screen would make for a good upgrade. The screen takes about 30 seconds to fully extend or retract. This may sound slow, but I found that it helps with aligning the projector image. I can adjust it to within less than an inch of increments. I wasn't able to do this with my old manual pull-down screen. It is sufficiently quiet. When I first used it, there were some ripples on the canvas. It is only noticeable when there is ambient light coming from the side. It has since gotten better. The edges appear slightly curved, but it does not detract from the image quality. The screen that I got does not retract 100%. There is a gap of about half an inch, but doesn't affect the appearance in a bad way. Some people say it smells of toxicity when they first use it. It does smell, but it's not that bad and has gotten better with time. My new Epson Home Cinema 1060 projector looks fantastic on this screen. I cannot detect the minute ripples that I mentioned while watching movies or video content. The manual control is located on the left side and the cable is about 6 feet in length. I wish the cable were detachable so that I can run it through the wall where the screen is mounted. The remote is very easy to use. For the cost, it has met my expectations. I give it a solid 4 stars and would recommend it to anyone.

Simple and nice. A little noisy while going up and down

This screen was super easy to set up, and works exactly as described. We were able to hang it just behind a beam, so when it is fully up it doesn't show at all from the front. The motor runs smoothly, and the screen itself has no wrinkles or defects. Very pleased!

Yes, the screen does have a smell at first like many other reviews talk about. I was initially worried that it would be there forever but it really did go away after about 2-3 days. Motor works great and picture looks great. Supposedly you can set the limit switches to stop at a certain amount but I don’t see how to do that and frankly it isn’t worth me getting a ladder and trying to figure it out. I just use the remote and hit stop where I want it. Very happy with the purchase!
