Once charged, the little demon will automatically track you once you turn it on. You don't have to set up anything. The included bluetooth "clicker" which starts and stops the camera pairs easily and works great. I also love that once the phone is inserted, it can be tilted up and down. Much more expensive trackers require an accessory in order to do this. (Just to clarify, it will not track you up/down - but can be positioned so that the camera is shooting a high or low angle).

The device auto tracking works. However be careful what configuration you order because one do not have the remote control for your phone. The other has it. I found the camera can be manually pushed upwards or downwards for when you are standing or sitting down. The auto tracking follows you moving left or right using facial recognition. The device swivels 360 degrees and as long as you are in full view. Moving closer May cut your top. For its price it is a good enough auto tracking. The Go Pro version is cheaper and has the remote control and you can mount a dslr with a 1/4†mount screw. However I do not know whether it supports the gesture command or what they term AI for Artificial Intelligence. I returned the product because I wanted a smaller device for traveling and as an additional tool for selfie video.

I wanted to love this but it will not keep the tracking function going. It keeps stopping and is need to make the gesture to get it working again. In addition, instructions are very sparse. I just really wanted to love it but don't.

So far, we love this little face tracker. Does a good job as it's own system that doesn't require an app. We don't use it for recording, just for video conference kinds of needs and it works great! Great value.

Love this phone holder! Bought one a few months ago & was so impressed on its tracking ability n easy set-up. Especially since I didn’t have to download another app for it to work. Love this device that I bought 3 more for Christmas gifts. Definitely worth the purchase.
