Most of the time replacing a transmission filter is spent removing the transmission pan and draining the fluid, it's not a difficult process.
If you are comfortable with removing the pan, popping out the old filter and installing a new filter, and then using the correct pan gasket to reseal the transmission.

Filter and gasket worked as designed . This kit gasket was made of rubber. Factory gasket was made of a type of cork. Note You should be careful when torqueing the pan bolts with a rubber gasket. Factory called for 65 inch lbs. of torque for pan bolts. Probably ok with cork gasket. but caused the rubber gasket to begin to bulge out. I ended up torqueing the pan bolts to 39 inch lbs, and rechecked a week later ,and all is well.
