I haven't had to use any of the items and I hope I never do but I am prepared for myself or to lend to a fellow motorist in trouble. The kit has everything you need in one hard compact size. It's a good value for your money. My neighbor and a nephew say it and both commented about how prepared it is. I would rather be prepared a hope I never have to use it for myself then need it and don't have it.

Gift for grandson’s first car. Better to have it & not need it than to need it & not have it. Just add a roll of duct tape and a roll of baling wire and PRESTO!

We purchased this for my 16 year old to go in his first car! I gives me the peace of mind to know he has the basic tools if he runs into car troubles.

This is good for your travel needs, if you have an issue on the road.the bag is small but contains all useful stuff which is very help to most minor emergency and breakdowns. so it won't take much space.

My son just started to drive soI got him this kit for the car which, even though we have AAA, still gives me a little more peace of mind. It’s got some really cool things inside and one item that was missing which I supplemented. First of all the 98 pieces is a bit misleading because they count every Q tip and band aid. Of all the pieces though there are some clear standouts. The tire pump is great because if your tires got a slow leak you can take care of it in 5 mins instead of waiting 45 for AAA. The shovel is also fairly decent. You’re not gonna bury a body with it but you certainly can dig out some dirt or snow that may be impeding traction. The multi tool wrench is also a fairly quality product for one of these comprehensive kits. The grip is strong and the jaws are aligned. You get several first aid products e.g., bandaids, q tips, etc., small scrapes. The jumper cables aren’t heavy duty but should work just fine for a quick jump and everything fits into the toolbox just fine. The only other thing missing from this set was some flat tire repair kits. I actually had an extra set of the sticky tire plugs and the auger and need tools so I threw them in the box for him. All this isn’t going to help him if he throws head gasket but for everyday issues it should serve just fine.

The box is sturdy enough. Cables look great, nice quality. First aid kit is nice, but I will add bandaid of various sizes. Shovel is tiny,ok, flimsy, not sure it will hold up. It will do what I bought it for, peace of mind.However it is missing a few of the items.Whistle, socket wrench, emergency blanket and multipurpose tool.
