Overall decent quality, I will note that the neck on top of the original carburetor was slanted and this one is at a 45° angel, I used the top off my old carburetor and made it work.

Although it indicates it is compatible with a multitude of Stihl products, including my MS290 Farm Boss - ya, not so much. Installed, tried to start up - absolutely nothing. Reinstalled the old one, it started (but ran poorly because of age). Brought it to Stihl dealership. Informed me that nothing on Amazon will work on Stihl products. Lesson learned. Can't send back since the dealership took the poc carb.

One vent cover on carb was different than original but made no problems installing product. Chainsaw started easily after priming. Adjusted carb jets and it runs like a new machine! Kit contains all new hoses, filters and spark plug; everything you need to bring it back to original performance.
