This CDI Box has a more aggressive timing curve & higher REV limit compared to original CDI Box.
This is a wire box, Wires are as follow, Orange & black are in a plastic plug together, then Black/white, black/red, white/red. The Gray on your model wire does not have to be used for the ATV to run as it is a ground wire.

I am just glad I got what was in the picture, the other reviews are no help. Works well and has a nice curve. Put it on my Vespa Grande, but should work on any pick up CDI. Pluged right into my 2001 scrambler 50...it indeed changed the timing....guys I seen a lot of bad reviews about wiring...It plugs right in. Don't confuse it with the voltage regulator

I swapped out the old cdi with this one, I was having an issue with the quad dieing after it warms up. This cdi won't even start the quad. The wires match up perfectly... I reinstalled the old cdi and the machine fires right up. I guess I got a bad one

I originally bought it for my 2005 Nissan Viper 70, and it wired right up and worked, but the Killswitch was reversed for some reason. So, yes, it does work, but it is a little screwed up.

I bought this for my 97 yamaha razz. It runs great now! Be careful that you don't pull the wires off your coil when changing the CDI box.
