I suggest getting the AutoLine Pro Universal Bladder Adapter to use when testing for intake leaks (I tried rubber/vinyl gloves to seal the intake, but they weren't sturdy enough), The Bladder Adapter sealed the intake tube perfectly. It will also seal the fuel tank opening, or the oil filler hole, if you need to test those areas, too. I am using the Autoline Pro (shop series) tester with it (and an external air compressor), and they work great together.

I'm not a professional mechanic, I just have a turbo project car that I smoke test to check for leaks from time to time. I like this product but did experience failure of the cap that holds the rubber bladder in. I went to their website and sent them a quick email describing what happened and they were very quick to email me back and got a replacement in the mail very fast. I was very impressed with how nice they are and how fast they were to help me.

This accessory works great. Used it with the Auto Line smoke tester.

Only problem is the bladder is so thin if you use it in the exhaust pipe and there’s anything sharp or sticking out or just dirty. The bag pops. Very easy.
