We bought this to use as a waterer for our chickens. We have it hooked up to a 50 gallon water jug and it is perfect, doesn't overflow and works like a sink.

Have to buy an adapter for a hose to fit. Works great but all fittings should have plumber tape and be tightened snug

Got this for outside water bowl for my dogs but I had to disassemble it completely and file smooth every edge on it, as they were all as sharp as knives. Once reassembled it works well and no longer a hazard. Appears plenty sturdy just not “finished “

This thing leaks! I’ve adjusted the float many times, it will work for a while, I come back and water is all over the ground. This is for little dogs, it should be reliable( the plastic one I bought works much better) this one’s float design is basically garbage.
