This works gr8! Saves time and aggravation and keeps dumpling making a pleasant experience. I am so impressed with how easy to use, that I bought another for my daughter, who also loves dumplings. Few learning curves with making the fresh dumplings. 1st you have to adjust how much filling you use to fill each wrapper. I've found that 1/2 Tablespoon of filling that is leveled off on the top of your measuring spoon nails the amount needed to use. If you use too much filling? It interferes with the seal of the wrapper, because it shoots out from center of dumpling to the inside edge of wrapper where seal is needed. If you can fill the wrapper with the right amount of filling? There is literally no clean up needed. Charging this unit is a simple step of connecting USB cable. The full charging takes about 1/2 an hour. My only concern is. how long will the rechargeable battery last? I made at least 30 at 1 sitting with no problems with low battery usage. If you have kids that enjoy making things? This is a gr8 item to spend time with them in a joint effort. Just assemble the wrapper and filling and press the button and you're on your way to delicious home made dumplings...

I ordered this dumpling maker and, lo and behold, it arrives pre-unpacked (how considerate!) and sans instructions or power adapter. They did leave a teeny-weeny USB cable, though – cute!This thing didn't spring to life even after I tried three of my own power adapters. Instead, it blinked like a possessed disco ball. Furthermore, the size? It's so small it could make dumplings for ants... if only it worked.So if you fancy a blinky-light show and dreams of ant-sized dumplings, this is your go-to gadget. I, meanwhile, will be nursing my culinary ego and chasing the elusive perfect dumpling maker.

It is a perfect little machine. Easy to use and easy to clean. It is my own fault for not realizing how tiny the dumplings would be. But knowing this...it is perfect! I do wish I could purchase the same device as an empanada press. Hint, hint. Lol

This product worked good if you want to make dumplings I was looking to make pierogies but I make them big this wasn’t for me too small, but great for little appetizers like wontons or empanadas

I thought this would become just another return because it seemed too good to be true.BUT ITS A KEEPER!I got 7 dozen pot stickers made in no time.What I do not understand is why a measuring spoon is not included with it rather than a stainless steel paddle looking thing. Using it made no sense because there is only one specific amount that can fill the wrapper so why not include a tool to make it easier?I found out that if too much filling is added on the wrapper then the machine will squeeze it out, making a mess. In order to avoid this I used a double sided melon baller (the large end) filled level to the top and it was the perfect amount.Lining things up before pressing the button is important and made a perfect pot sticker each time.The tiny brush that is included worked perfectly. Much better than dipping a finger in water for application.I can see why this unit is a usb and not a regular plug in the wall device.It's much easier to use it not having the cord attached to a wall outlet.It's very light weight and very fun to use.I am looking forward to using it to make pierogies!Worth it if you like to make pot stickers and pierogies.

My wife got this as a Christmas gift from me and she has used it so many times! She comes from Poland where they make a lot of pierogis and has made so many different types. It enables her to make them faster and more accurate than by hand. It is a great time saver and well worth it!

Like many of you, I read the reviews and was so excited that I placed an order. I followed the instructions to the letter and even watched the video several times to make sure I was doing something wrong. I was so disappointed with the results. The press did NOT work at all, even with the smallest amount of filler the press squeezed the filler out and did not seal them. I immediately returned it. On the market for one that works.
