Threw this into my 2014 Tundra SR5 which was pre-wired for a light sensor, so it was a simple plug and play install. Now my head unit adjusts brightness based on ambient light instead of dimming when I turn on headlights (this can be a problem if you turn on headlights while it’s raining but it’s still bright out, backup camera becomes too dim to see).No additional configuration necessary, simply works. I may install a new Headlight switch down the road to get fully automatic headlights, but for now this is good enough for me.
