I can’t begin to say how many pool cover pumps I have purchased overtime. I feel like none of them actually last an extended period of time. I use two pumps on my pool cover; one for the pool and one for the spa. This year both of the pumps failed. When I went to replace them, I impulsively bought a different brand frustrated with the fact that these failed. It was a good deal and while I don’t necessarily regret it in retrospect, the new pump does not come with a warranty like these do. I reached out to the company for these pumps regarding the warranty since they were not working. After several emails proving purchase and sending a video to show the issues. They made good on the warranty. Knowing that Pool pump covers do not typically last, I did actually buy another one of these due to the fact that their customer service was so excellent. They were in daily communication with me via email and provided me with a credit of the original purchase price. I would’ve been happy with a replacement pump and therefore used the replacement credit to purchase another one from them. There may be stronger pumps or other deals but for me having a warranty with a company that backs it is most important.

Made the mistake of getting a cheap one for my pool. Constantly had to keep and eye on it, plug it in when it rained and had to unplug when it finished removing the water. This is a game changer. I don’t have to worry about unplugging it when done and it just does it thing. Easy to assemble, well built and I like the ability to have the hose angled up as this is going into an above ground pool.

Last year we had a basement flood when our sump stopped working. When it happened I was scrambling around trying to use a shop vacuum in vain to get the water out. All I did was ruin my shop vacuum. So having a pump like this is a absolute necessity.

I was shocked that it actually does what it says it will do. We always get water stuck in the pool cover which weights it down and breaks the cover. As soon as there’s rain, it turns on and sucks it out. A hose doesn't come with it, but we got one and attached it easily. Highly recommend!!!
