It appears to be comparable to the OEM ones. I already have an OEM one that I haven't installed yet, but I got this one as a spare just in case I spend hours opening up the engine hub and accidentally break one, leaving me stuck. This filter feels slightly softer than the OEM one. Hopefully, it will still work effectively.

A lot of people don't think about changing this little filter when changing your transmission fluid, but if you've had your filter in there 100k, 200k, or however many miles you car has on it, would you want to leave the old filter in there? That answer for me was no, and since my car did have a serviceable filter (2005 Honda Pilot) I was for sure going to change this out. I recommend watching YouTube videos on where to access the filter housing, but in just a few bolts the cover is off and you can access this filter. Gave me more peace of mind when changing the fluid that an old dirty filter wouldn't contaminate my new fluid. This one was the same size as OEM, and the fact it included new o-rings and washers was a big plus!
