I don't consider myself a flashy person. I am a designer, however, and upon being forced to give up my BMW due to unexpected announced repairs that out valued the car's worth - I needed to get a new car before my clutch went out and I'd get nothing on trade in. With that background, it was a bit of a jump going from sport car to crossover. I also hate for my car to be everywhere looking like everyone else's. Even more than that, I hate a scratched rim!. The interior of the new car has red stitching, hence red as accent color isn't a far leap. I didn't like that the rims of the new car were black. These aluminum rim protectors are a great shade of red that gives the car just a hint of style without being obnoxious, easy to put on, and have been truly fantastic!!! They handle bumps, look way better than the fire red plastic ones (that eventually came off and almost caused serious damage - DO NOT GET) Seriously...this is a great product!!! Also, super easy to instal and if done correctly should not render any issue! I've had mine on for almost a year now in Seattle's rain and pot-hole ridden city.

Installed these on a 2024 Taycan- or more accurately, attempted to install. First impression was good- they came well packaged in a large box with each protector wrapped in a plastic wrap, sandwiched in a foam board. I prepped my wheels and was ready to install. Each protector requires a good, clean surface (water and soap prepped, I also used rubbing alcohol on the rim lip for good measure). Afterward, you apply an adhesive promoter around the rim lip- this is critical to ensure the 3M tape adhesion to the strenuous environment that wheels are subject to. The supplier provides 4 individually wrapped packets with an adhesive promoter wipe inside. Problem 1- these wipes are tiny. Like 2 in x 2 in tiny- barely enough for a larger diameter rim. Problem 2- and probably most critical, the first two packets were damp, at best. It appears most of the promoter dried up in storage. The other two were bone dry, completely useless. Problems 1 and 2 compounded meant I did not have enough promoter to adequately apply to all four wheels. I barely had enough to apply to two wheels. After installation, I removed the protective film and was met with an absolutely atrocious finish. I ordered black, and was sent a glossy black enamel coated aluminum alloy ring. They used barely enough enamel to coat the outside facing protector, and what’s worse is they definitely didn’t use enough on the inner lip. This means each protector has areas on the inner lip where there’s black enamel, then silver exposed aluminum. It looks like your wheels are damaged before you even drive with them. Further, all four had small nicks and scratches despite the plastic wrap meant to protect them, and the third one I installed has horrible paint orange peel. I’m afraid to even attempt to remedy this as I’m afraid the bare spots where enamel was not applied will begin peeling off (which is all but likely as these get used). This is clearly a QC issue, as someone had to wrap the protectors after they were finished, but apparently not enough care was put into rejecting these before packing them up. For $130 that’s outright unacceptable. In retrospect a wish I would have thoroughly examined them before I installed. Even if the finish was fine, durability is still questionable given the lack of adhesion promoter. Who knows how long these will last.. it seems people prior have reviewed them detaching after about 2 weeks, which I could see being completely probable. If it wasn’t a complete pain, I’d tear them off and ship them back, but they’ll be mangled up and I don’t have a box big enough for them. Let’s hope they at least provide some protectional functional value- given what I’ve seen so far on quality, I’m not holding my breath. At current, I don’t recommend these at all, hopefully the manufacturer reaches out for remedial recourse.

I had my Tesla Model Y wheel hit the curb and caused the rim scratched and side tire damaged. I am wondering if there is some product that can protect the tire rims from curb damage. My friend suggested me try to search from Amazon. And then I found this product and tried to install it on my car.The product is great and easy for installation, now my wife is glad that tire looks like new one. I am happy to recommend this product to anyone who is looking for tire rim protection. Your Tesla deserves the proection.

Thanks to the good folks at EVOOOR customer service I'm upgrading my review to 4 stars. Customer service was very helpful and truly cared that my initial experience was not great. They provided a replacement set.The trim rings are very well made and high quality. They are precion manufactured. So much so, that you must be very diligent in your installation to make sure you are getting the rim exactly aligned. There is zero tolerance for misalignment. They look great on the car and are a very quality product.I would advise any purchaser to buy additional 3M Adhesion Promoter. You've spent a lot of money on these, do just a little bit more to insure a good installation.Do not believe their instructions that these can be installed without removing the wheel. Gravity is not on your side. Remove the wheel. Lay it on a flat horizontal surface for installation. Use adequate adhesion promoter. When you remove the adhesive backing from the first 16% of the ring, start by laying down the opposite side of the ring on the rim to make sure that edge fits around the edge of the wheel. Then press down the side with the adhesive. Work your way around the wheel, pressing the ring down firmly to make sure even contact with the wheel. Here is the most important part : USE A RUBBER MALET. Work your way around the wheel making the outside lip of the ring conforms to the outside edge of the wheel.I'm only withholding the 5th star because I feel that they should supply a better adhesion promoter and the institutions really should advise the installer to remove the wheel for a better installation.

Wow. These actually feel like really good quality and the adhesive sticks very strong when clean the wheel properly. I love the little kit it comes with (towel and alcohol pads) and they are packed and wrapped superbly! I would buy these again if I had to!

This is a garbage product. The product is very bad. The double tape does not hold. I followed all your steps and as I drove about 8 miles to my business 2 of them fell off and I realized it when I got to my shop. By the time I retraced my steps and went back for them, I found one of them that was really badly damaged and I could not find the other one.
