I loved it, just placed over the old one cut it to size and made holes over old holes for clips peeled off lining to glue on and then placed clips in holes as original, much better I highly recommend it and it keeps the sound to zero and protect heat from damaging paint on hood

I needed replacement hood insulation in our 2006 Honda Accord. This hood insulation was great as it was easy to cut and easy to install. We were able to also use the clips to help hold the insulation in addition to the adhesive. The sizing was good and the noise dampening was good as well. A good replacement and saved us $300 dollars over OEM.

Installed easily and worked great for several weeks. Started falling down and required installation of plastichold downs to add stability.

Had to get mechanic to install, as I am sure I could have installed BUT.. too short to reach over fender and hood when open.Squirrels decided original insulation would make comfy home. I'm sure it was toasty warm.

I just installed this about an hour. It's very easy to install all you have to do is remove your old insulation and trace it out. WARNING: This material did not fully cover my 2001 Ford Focus factory insulation piece so I had to cut two pieces. It wasn't a big deal but one cut is always better. So far it's sticking well. At the seam and in places where the adhesive couldn't catch any metal I just used some aluminum tape to connect it. I actually like this better than the original. Since I just installed it I can't attest as to how long this will last. Hopefully the life of the car!

The original insulation had deteriorated over time. I replaced it with this and the diesel engine is quiet once again.

The product Does NOT fit a 2018 Chevy Equinox hood. No matter what Amazon says. I don't know what others used to cut material but a sharp new blade razor knife and new scissors would only shred mine. Terrible, Terrible product.

You must know how to apply itTaking measure adding 2 or 2 inches due to inside curbs than apply it well horizontally gradually taking of the paper as you go down than compress with your fingers well all corners making sure a maximum of adhesion job doneGreat product and cheap !

Squirrels chewed up the old hood shield on my 2014 Town and Country so I bought this as a replacement. I needed to trim it so it fit top to bottom, and it didn't quite stretch fully left to right, but it did the job. Also, I would not rely on the adhesive that comes with it, rather I would purchase whatever size push-pin retainers your current vehicle uses (for example I bought these ones for my van https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0017UBHQS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), as these will keep it in place for sure, rather than relying on some questionable peel 'n stick solution.

Very satisfied with the product, just wish that there was easier way of cutting or making it perforated for easier trimming to size.
