The read out screen is so dim that it’s hard to read. They need to make it so it is brighter. It’s difficult to operate with the screen so dim. Very disappointed in that.

If you’re going to use this outside, say taking temperature readings of the high side of a condenser on your AC unit you cannot see the display no matter how far you turn the brightness up this piece can only be used inside in the dark, etc. FYI

This works great for a quick check of the inlet and outlet temperatures of AC units. It is more accurate than the gauge type with a clip on the side, and is quick reading.

Item came from manufacturer with no contacts for The battery it could not operate without these metal tabs returned. It ordered another and that one came missing the tabs also from manufacturer return that one and would not recommend this item

Surprisingly accurate as it measured the same when compared to my larger fluke so I'm incredibly happy that it's a much smaller unit to carry in the tool box! Space and weight are at a premium for me sometimes and this solved both problems when it comes to being able to check temp of line sets on the fly without dragging out a ton of gear.

I would avoid eats those 3 triple A batteries when off at least mine did was so hopeful for something like this but K type for life I guess
