The tool has a range of +/- 6 degrees. The bubble spans 1 whole degree. If you are looking for a more precise reading than maybe half-degree estimations, that may not be the tool you are looking for.I was hoping to enhance my ability to precisely dial in the settings on my vintage Porsche touring car, which is extremely sensitive to small errors in alignment, and particularly to differences side to side. This tool helps with the differences since it's easy to read in whole degrees. So long as your target settings are in whole degrees or maybe even half degrees, it will work fine for you.The tool itself is a milled aluminum block, with a 60mm graduated bubble level. The wheel end has a round magnet to attach to a steel disk or frame on your alignment wheel fixture. Compact and sturdy construction will allow survival in your track prep tool bag. You'll need a carpenters 'torpedo' bubble level to zero the tool before use but after that it's good to go.My current setup uses digital angle gauges with claimed 0.1 degree accuracy. Unfortunately, repeatability isn't there yet. I have a 24" bubble level I can clamp to the fixture, and I can use drill bit 'spacers' between the level and the fixture to get camber dialed in perfectly. It's clunky compared to this tool, and pretty tedious if I need 2 setups and readings to set caster. Which you need to do with each camber adjustment. Ok for adjustments in the workbay, not so hot for track day adjustments between HPDE sessions.

This tool arrives with a basic instruction sheet that I found extremely helpful, considering I'm not a professional mechanic. The camber gauge seems well built, and the magnet is strong. The tool itself is decent looking metal. Using the provided info and some online videos, I was able to figure out how to do my own wheel alignment. Trying to save some $$ because my van is always getting out of alignment, so this has been a really helpful tool!

I still do some repairs on my own cars. Not as much as I used to but I still do some brake and chassis work myself. This is great to have on hand to get the alignment close until I can get the car to a shop to have a proper alignment performed. The quality was far better than I was expecting for the price. I feel like taken care of these will last a good long while. So far it has worked for me and helped me to get close enough to be able to drive to a shop to have them check the alignment for me.
