Bought this to resize a set of existing m5 holes, in an aluminum rail, to m6. This should not be a hard task ... only a mm of material to be removed.1st day was ok ... Resized 4 holes and set in equipment hooks.2nd day, resized 1 hole ok and on the 2nd hole the bit snapped in half. The bit wasn't even warm ... So not an overheating failure. I wasn't pushing hard either.Product feels super light weight, which kinda surprised me from the onset. Maybe if you're tapping plastic, but I wouldn't recommend these for anything else.

The 1/4 inch bit broke on the first use. I have asked for a replacement. We'll see how the 2nd set work.

I bought the set thinking it would be great for light aluminum work. Unfortunately the teeth on the taps rounded over and don't create a thread anywhere close to the posted sizes only after tapping no more than 10 holes.
