This device allowed me to output the audio from PS4 Pro to my Presonus studio monitors that only had analog RCA and TRS inputs. It worked like a dream, with no fuss. If you're wondering what the difference is between the 058 model and the 048 model, it's only that the RCA cable is shorter on the 048, and the RCA connectors are female (helpful if you intend to connect a longer patch cable to reach between this converter and your intended audio device) but besides that they are identical. The 058 model I purchased was long enough for my PS4 pro to reach the console 6 feet away without any additional extension cables. For the price and performance of this product, I'm more than satisfied. It's a great buy if you need a converter like this!

This worked perfectly in connecting a newer model TV with only a digital audio output to my old DVD Surround sound system's audio input. When purchasing, it was unclear to me that the unit needed a USB power supply. Luckily, I had a spare one. A very inexpensive solution to my problem.

The accompanying user manual was well written. The device was easily plug and play with no trouble at all.Be sure to remember that it does not handle Dolby audio, only PCM.

The e-arc hdmi on my tv did not work. I was trying to get my sound board and external speakers hooked up to the tv. This was a perfect fit. Optical out into rca jacks. Bingo. Now Karaoke all night long!

I tried this with many of my stereo products that I was trying to use a digital port. It did not work on any of them. They talk about using it on a TV. Maybe TVs are special. I don’t know, but I’m giving it three stars because I don’t know what it’s intended purposes specifically for, but anybody who thinks it’s as it advertises just analog to digital, Well it isn’t

Buen producto, lo saque de mi PC a una casetera para poder grabar de digital a casets, el audio excelente!, Ya también depende si estas usando tus casets regrebados puede que la pasar la calidad no baje pero se escuche un poco mal si la sienta es vieja y esta dañada. la calidad de audio muy buena.

Easy to set up. Connects perfectly from optical digital output on TV to RCA analog input on my somewhat dated Marantz amplifier. All sound output from TV no matter what source (TV box, streamed programming or DVD player) is of good quality. Only inconvenience (a minor one) is that amp. remote has to be used to control volume.

Ottimo prodotto, fa il suo. Lo uso per ascoltare l'audio del TV su impianto stereo. Nessuna perdita di segnale, audio di ottima qualità ed effetto stereo ... WOW. Il mio impianto audio è il più basilare che esista in commercio (solo effetto stereo), ma da quando ho installato questa fibra ottica, a volte si percepisce anche un effetto dolby 3D, da me inaspettato. WOW!!!Consiglio L'acquisto.
