I hate the way most bathroom accessories install and would personally prefer to never fiddle with those tiny screws again. In this house, I wanted something for the toilet paper that was simple to install and maintained my aesthetic, and these fit the bill. They are high quality heavy iron, are versatile and can be installed left, right, or upright, are the perfect size, and were half the price of other similar items on other websites.

It’s gorgeous and worked well for a while. Not the arm is limp and I can’t tighten it. Will not stay in any upright position.

We thought a versatile style. Also, we just wanted screws to affix it to our bathroom cabinet. It seems that many toilet paper roll holders are not this way. There are brackets that you attach the actual toilet paper holder to, and it seemed that the toilet paper holder would slip out of the brackets and come off.

This Autumn Alley Black Toilet Paper Holder looks exactly as shown in the ad picture. It doesn't have any hidden brackets to hold it in place, it just screws straight into the wall or dry wall anchor and the screw heads are visible once installed. The screws and drywall anchors are included. This toilet paper holder can be installed in either the vertical or horizontal position but we chose the horizontal position. The toilet paper holder is very sturdy thick metal, powder coated in black, and the toilet paper roll just slides on easily. There is a slight lip at the end of the spindle part to keep the toilet paper roll from falling off. It works fine and looks great in our bathroom.

Was fine until recently. The TP bar will no longer stay in the horizontal position, it drops down and the roll falls off. I have to put it in the upright position but that still doesn’t work well. Past the date of return. But have only had it since June and that bathroom is barely used. Waste of money and I do not recommend it at all.
