Those USB-C coupler can be used as extension cables n when connected to another USB-C cable. In addition, a little light comes on both sides of the coupler when connected to a power source or computer port.Speed wise, they work well with Thunderbolt 4 ports and cables. The transfer speed reminds unaffected.

I have a usbc microphone for my Mac Mini. But there is not enough room to plug it in on the back of the mini. I simply use a standard usbc to usbc cable and this adapter. It provides a simple solution. It also has a blue indicator led to show that everything is connected properly and my microphone is charged.

Sadly only 1 of the 2 adapters that I bought work. Not worth it.Update-The company reached out to me and provided a free replacement. So far the replacement is working. Good customer service.

They're an extremely simple item, quite often doomed to filter down to the bottom of the cables drawer, but when you need it, well... they're inexpensive, durable and while they're a one-trick pony, only they can fill the position.

I'm using this to connect a USB optical cable to a short usb-c cable with a screw lock. The coupler works great and I'm getting full line speed out of my cables. The added light is a nice touch but for me it wasn't necessary. Still I give it five starts cause it does what it says it does.

Yeah as the title says, I plugged these in and got no video or even power through the connection, every device I tried acted like I hadn't plugged anything in.

Works on everything I tested these on. Just remember, if the little blue light doesn't come on unplug and flip one of the chords, the orientation of both cables needs to match, the couplers won't do that unfortunately but the light makes it easy.

I needed these extensions to address situations that i often experience while traveling: power socket too far from the desk to power my laptop and other electronic devices. The solution i envisioned was to carry an USB C to USB C cable extension for my laptop MagSafe connector and power adapter. I always carry with me several USB C cables, and by extending the fixed 2mt MagSafe cable, I’m now in the position to comfortably keep all my devices powered regardless of how poorly a room has been designed. I now it sounds weird, but it happens very frequently

I bought these specifically for use at work where I could plug in my charger and at the other side of the conference room still be able to charge my phone / laptop using the 2 x 2m USB c cables I already had in my bag. These are rated even higher than the 65W I need to charge my laptop and work perfectly
