This saucepan is great! Durable material, extremely well designed and manufactured.Such attention to detail is rare, especially in affordable cookware. The vented glass lid, with a heat protected handle and holes for straining is brilliant, as are the two pour spouts on the pan itself.Honestly don't know the last time I was so delighted with an online purchase. Thanks, AVACRAFT!

Love these! This is my 2nd purchase of this item (try-ply full body - 6 qrt stockpot). Because it's wider & the heat distribution is so good, the apples for applesauce cook down more quickly & evenly top to bottom than several other quality stainless steel pans that I have (even better than the AVACRAFT 7 quart, Pasta Pot w Strainers). I prefer it over even that one. It also heats up water (for pasta) faster (induction cooktop), though maybe not as fast as my Instant Pot does on 'sauté'. Also love the lid strain & pour feature & that it has measurement marks for water level inside the pan. High quality & beautiful design too. Love almost all my Avacraft pans.Discovered that it was easier to use 2 of these smaller 6 quart tri-ply full body covered stockpot pans vs 1 huge pot to cook-down the apples. Their better heat distribution works faster & reduces the chances of scorching the bottom or having to turn/stir the apples excessively & also reduces the amount of water needed to start the apples cooking initially to less than 1/8 cup (compared to using one huge pot).Steam canning worked better too vs water-bath (less heat in the kitchen, faster processing time w getting up to heat & better flexibility w not having to put in a full 7 quarts each time because of water level). This pan (along w my VICTORIO VKP1130 steam or waterbath canner which can also be used as a big cookpot) has been a game-changer for processing large quantities of apples/fruit or acidified produce (like pickles/tomatoes) quickly w less mess & heat in the kitchen.I should also mention that my (VICTORIO VKP1130 steam canner) is now being sold under a different name (Kitchen Crop VKP Brands), but if you search by either of those names, the stockpot steam canner should come up that I like. It will show two different styles of steam canners for them, but I prefer the stockpot style as it has more uses. It can be used as a steam canner or a waterbath canner or a large cookpot for cooking down tomatoes', etc (more versatile), well worth the small increase in price over the other one (heavier duty too). Just remember w steam canners that you have to watch the water level, but I've noticed w mine that it doesn't go down very fast because of the lid. Here's it's link.https://www.amazon.com/Kitchen-Crop-Brands-Canner-Capacity/dp/B0075O2Z34/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=VICTORIO+VKP1130&qid=1697023172&sr=8-1

This is a very well-made, user-friendly stainless steel saucepan. It is substantial but not so heavy that it becomes a burdensome task to move it when it contains food. I really like the lid with the heat-proof handle and the double spouts on the pot itself. This company takes pride in their pots and pans, and I will return to purchase more when replacing those I have when the time comes to do so.

I bought this pan several years ago when transitioning to a glasstop electrical stove. I was reluctant to write a review at the time. Even though I had cooked for decades, I was new to glasstop and tri-ply stainless cooking and there is a learning curve. So today was using and enjoying this pan and thinking about how beautifully my meat was cooking and caramelizing, and later what a pleasure it is to clean up. Once you get used to accommodating the temperature of the burners and scraping the bottom while there’s still heat and liquid there, it is a piece of cake. I got distracted giving the dog a quick trip and ended up charring a few pieces of the ham. So the bottom needed more than my wonderful silicone scraper. So out comes the wonderful Dawn Powerwash, and 5 minutes later, when I remembered to get back to it, it was clean.Stainless steel does react differently to different foods, so you live and learn. I avoid cooking tomato sauces in my stainless tri-ply pots. I have some well-used old anodized aluminim pots with non-stick surfaces that I save for the foods that I know will stain the surface of the stainless steel. I remember from growing up, when we used Revere copper-bottom pots, that my aunt would tell me that it is “stain less†not “no stain.â€This is a good product. I appreciate the strainer lids and pour spouts and measure indicators. And the food does seem to have more depth of flavor than what I used to achieve from the anodized alumnum. Color me happy in the kitchen.

Purchased this pan 3 years ago, and I have loved it. Easy to clean, sturdy, great design...but quality doesn't stand the test of time. I am now getting pock marks, small rust spots, across the bottom of the pan. You can feel them with your finger. It was a great price point, but as usual, you get what you pay for. Wish I'd spent more for better quality.
